My first Fantasy Fest in Key West, October 2007, and while really not a TG related event it did offer me the opportunity to buy a new dress for the occasion, and to have a lot of fun with some of my closes friends.  I'm not sure what the history of this event  is, however it seems that the residence of Key West enjoy throwing a good street party and just having fun.  Now I have never attended Mardi Gra in New Orleans, so I can't make any comparisons to that event.  All I know is that there were a lot of people and I got more than my share of beads! I will apologize for some of the photos, not my best work but then I was trying to have fun like everyone else!
